Just as they share in our everyday joys, having them by our side during a memorial voyage can bring a sense of peace and connection that words alone cannot express.
Guidelines of Sailing with Your Dog
We recommend a few guidelines to keep your pup happy throughout your charter.
- Owners are responsible for their dog
- All dogs kept on a leash, small Dogs can be held
- PFDs are available for dogs XS-XXL on each boat
- Bring snacks and water
Canine Companions
Captain Kirk's San Francisco Sailing has been a proud supporter of of Canine Campions for over 20 years through monetary donations, charters, and helping train puppies. Canine Companions provides service dogs to at no charge to their clients, so they can live with greater independence. They provide service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities and facility dogs to professionals working in healthcare, criminal justice and educational settings. Friends of Canine Companions who sail with us can choose to donate 10% of their charter cost to support Canine Companions.
